Speaker #2:  Rachana:  “Meditation:  The Art of Living”

Rachana gave a delightful, humorous, and surprising speech about her experiences on learning the art of meditation.  She began by describing a class that she took on meditation, where she met 10 “depressed people”.  Rachana then described a 10 day camping experience where she was supposed to learn to use meditation to help you find happiness in your life.
In each of these experiences, Rachana struggled to understand the art of meditation.  The concept eluded her.  She gave a fresh new viewpoint in how a novice learns about meditation.
The evaluation for Jim’s speech was given by Samya.  She said that Jim’s speech was well organized and he gave explicit examples of the role and opportunity to develop leadership skills.  Jim talked about the Project Management Institute and how to share your information with others.  He gave an especially strong conclusion to his speech.
There was a group evaluation given for Rachana’s speech.  Her speech was well organized and truly engaged her audience.  It was humorous and she used great voice projection, good animation, and had a good use of her hand gestures.
The speech was surprising and the audience did not know where it was going.  Rachana used her personal experience very effectively.
The theme of the meeting was: “Human Rights”; The word of the day was: “Reasonable”.
Samya asked the guest for her feedback and then closed the meeting.
Meeting was adjourned at 7:20
